1st Orchestra concert of the year

Kara had her first orchestra concert of the year. She was a little unimpressed by the talent this year. For many of the kids in her group, this is the first time they've had a daily rehearsal, so the group is not as polished as her orchestra last year. Also, they divide the school's orchestra into grade levels instead of skill levels. For Kara, going from advanced orchestra to basic 7th grade level was a big step backwards (and we all know that she does not like to take steps backwards). I hope by the end of the year that there is a big improvement and that Kara's a little happier with her place in the group. She is sitting 3rd chair right now and hopes to advance to 2nd or 1st chair by the end of the year.
