Jeff's classroom

Jeff got a job teaching 1st grade at an high needs school in downtown Phoenix. His classroom was a mess when we got there! (The pictures below are before we started cleaning and organizing.) We spent a long couple of  weeks cleaning and getting things ready for his new students, reorganizing, and de-cluttering everything. Soon I'll have to make it back over to his school to take more pictures so I can post about what it looks like now!

Jeff has been enjoying his class and the kids are mostly good! It's stressful to be a new teacher, and these kids have difficult home lives which makes it even harder to teach them. Jeff enjoys his job and says it doesn't even feel like work in the traditional sense. Let's hope the countdown to a break from school goes quickly! :)

Note: a lot of these displays have been redone and most of the clutter is gone! The layout of the room has been redone and the space planning is much better now! Jeff's desk faces the classroom and he's moved the tables around for his computer and other workstations.
