Oquirrh Mountain Temple & Visitors

Today was the dedication for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan, Utah. Throughout the state of Utah, normal church meetings were cancelled this week so that all could participate in the dedication ceremony for the temple. All those 8 and older were allowed to go - that meant we got to take Kara but not Brooke.

We would have split up and Jeff and Kara were going to go to the morning session and then I was going to go in the afternoon, but thankfully we have some visitors.... Grandma Lopez and Kari came to visit!!! :) Brooke got to sleep in and Jeff & I took Kara. The 3 of us got to go together!

Grandma & Kari have been on a quick tour of St George now... we spent the better part of the afternoon touring around the city and surrounding areas. We went to some church historical sites and went through the visitor's center of the St George temple - both are some of my favorite free activites. Glad they're all open on Sundays!

Kari and I had a great time - tho sorry our stay was so short and the rest of the family could not be there. We really miss you guys and can hardly wait until we come again and then visit more Church sites!
