Here is scruffy Jeff. This Jeff gets asked if Lowe's makes keys and things like that. This Jeff got invited to watch tv in the truckers lounge at a gas station. When Jeff shaves, he's not regarded as such a burly-man.
Jeff would prefer to keep a goatee, but he likes to shave before we see his parents (his dad HATES it when Jeff has facial hair).
Since shaving, Amber has growled and barked at him - she does not recognize the smoother-faced Jeff....
