Facebook, Summer TV

I am behind the times (as usual) and just started a Facebook account yesterday. I already found a lot of people I haven't talked to in awhile. It's nice to be able to keep in touch with people so easily and find out what's going on.

I can't wait for the 4th of July when I get to see almost all of my nephews! And I don't have to spend any money on gas to see them! :) Very selfish of me, but we usually travel to Utah to see some of the baby boys and I'm glad we'll get to see them here this time.

We've been watching old episodes of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour the past couple of weeks as timefillers while there hasn't been anything on to watch. It's actually quite good for being 45 years old. Some of the acting is really over the top and funny (and not meant to be), but some are very good.

We were reminiscing yesterday about silly things Kara and Brooke have said in the past... one that I feel is worth mentioning again is when Kara was 2 and stood in front of her bedroom door (that she insisted was closed at all times) and said "Abre! Abre!" and when it wouldn't open "Oh, it's just no use!"

I had completely forgotten she had said that! I usually repeat a lot of the funny things to people at work, they get a kick out of the girls too. And, every once in awhile when it gets too quiet Alex or I will start, "Alooooha, I am the ghost of a Mexican...."

Too funny! I can just see her saying it, too...
