Pay It Forward
Lucky you!
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me!
My choice.
For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1 - I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! (Though I may ask some questions during the process.)
2 - What I create will be just for you.
3 - It'll be done this year (might take a little while).
4 - You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article. I may crochet, knit, or quilt something. I may make you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5 - I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same (but since I'm generous if you don't have a blog I may make an exception).
The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!
Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Good luck!

25 things about me!
From my facebook tag (for those who don't play on facebook):
25 things about me
1. I like going to the dentist. I haven't had any cavities in my adult teeth. I also like going to the eye doctor. Both are strangely exciting for me.
2. I hate carrots. I want to like them - I think they look good and I like that they are crunchy. I hate the taste. I spit them out as a baby in baby food form and have never liked them. Every year or two I get curious and try them again - still don't like them. I can tolerate them when they are in soup, but don't like them any other way.
3. I like to play with hair. Good thing I had two girls and three sisters...
4. I almost never have scary dreams. They're usually boring or just bizarre (if I can remember them at all).
5. I like to type and have loved the jobs I've had where all I do is transcription.
6. I cannot stand it when people ask the same question more than once. If you asked and I already answered, please do not call me back two minutes later and ask the same thing. Also, if I gave you an answer, don't ask someone else the same question within earshot of me.
7. I would rather spend time with family than do anything else.
8. I love to do crafts, but I don't feel like I'm very creative. I'm just good at copying other peoples' ideas.
9. I enjoy math. I like to work out long algebraic equations.
10. I actually like doing our taxes also (the process of it, not necessarily the outcome).
11. I have feigned ignorance on certain topics because it's easier than admitting I know what I'm talking about when dealing with some people.
12. There are a lot of things I don't mind doing, but if I'm told that I have to do that same task I automatically feel trapped and hate doing it.
13. If I'm cranky, please don't tell me that I'm cranky. Nothing angers me worse than telling me that I'm in a bad mood.
14. My favorite fruits are strawberries and tomatoes (not necessarily together).
15. I lived in Utah for over 6 years and did not go skiing or snowboarding once while there. I have never been skiing anywhere. I have only been snowboarding once and hurt myself so badly that I never wanted to do it again.
16. I like washing laundry but hate folding it and putting it away.
17. I am a packrat. I hate to throw anything away for fear I might need to use it again and don't want to buy it or replace it in the future. I also keep things that I probably don't need because I'll think of a way I might be able to re-purpose those things.
18. I hate to clean in general, but like washing windows and don't mind scrubbing the bathroom.
19. At work I am very meticulous about organizing and keeping away clutter. At home I am the complete opposite.
20. I like to watch football and basketball games in person. I'm happy when they're on at home because I can get a lot done while knowing Jeff is entertained. I don't mind watching them at home, but my mind wanders towards crafts and reading.
21. I love to read. I estimate that I read close to 100 books last year.
22. When I was in high school I thought I might never want to get married or have kids. I was married 14 months after graduation and had a baby a year later. I wouldn't trade my family for anything (not even for a degree or money).
23. I'm proud of my daughters and the things they teach me. I am fascinated daily by the insight they already have at their young ages. I love how different they are from each other and how their personalities are so different from mine. I love my little comedian and my fashion diva.
24. Jeff is at least 6 inches shorter than the guys I ever "went out with" in high school. Being close to the same height is nice - we don't have to move the driver's seat when we switch cars.
25. I love rollercoasters, but don't like heights (and hate climbing up high on ladders).
